Young Adult Pilgrimage to Taize

Youth Clubs and Summer Projects

About 300 youth clubs and groups are affiliated to the CYC and provide worthwhile recreational and educational activities for children and young people. CYC provides a comprehensive range of support services which includes Leadership Training, Public Liability Insurance and a programme of competitions and events. Summer Projects

Programmes of activities for some 40,000 children and young people are run during the summer holidays in over 120 parishes and communities. The programmes are organised by local volunteers and supported and promoted by the CYC.

Youth Arts

CYC encourages and supports the participation of young people in the arts through a wide variety of initiatives, including workshops, training courses and youth art days.

Adventure Sports

CYC promotes a wide variety of outdoor pursuits opportunities for young people. These include rockclimbing, orienteering, hill walking, canoeing etc. CYC also promotes environmental awareness among young people.

Local Youth Services

CYC (in association with Vocational Education Committees) provide broad based youth services in Bray, Clondalkin, Dun Laoghaire, Dundrum-Rathdown, East Wicklow, Finglas, Lucan/North Kildare and Ronanstown (North Clondalkin), Swords-Baldoyle.
