On the 16th of November 2010 the Award was officially launched in the Mansion House by his Grace, Archbishop Diarmuid Martin. Special guests on the day were Dublin Senior Football Star Alan Brogan, founder of the Award Fr. Paul Farren (Derry Diocese), and Director of Catholic Youth Care Fr. Jim Caffrey.
