Adventure Clubs

CYC Adventure Clubs Network is run by the Adventure Sports Department of CYC. The Adventure Sports Department (formerly the “Outward Bound" Department) has been offering adventure sports programmes to the young people of Dublin for over 20 years. There are now 7 CYC Adventure Clubs running in the city. The current clubs are; Dublin City AC in conjunction with the Aisling project, NEIC AC with LYCS, Rathmines AC with Rathmines Community Partnership, South City AC with YMCA & Finglas South, East & West with CYC’s Finglas Youth Service. There are 2 more clubs in the planning with Sphere 17 & Bradog Youth Services & 3 independently run clubs in Ballyfermot, North Wall & Artane.

The CYC Adventure Clubs Network offers services to all the clubs in its Network in order to allow them to grow and develop. Services include; Yearly Training Programme, Fundraising Assistance, Accounts Services, Annual Events, Website, Administration and Committee Assistance, Adventure Sports Staffing & Adventure Sports Resources
