Organisational Structure

The Council of CYC is the governing body of CYC. The Council consists of the director and not more than than 12 ordinary members.

CYC Council

The Council of CYC is the governing body or board of management of Catholic Youth Care. It consists of 7 members and the Director. All are appointed by the Archbishop of Dublin. Members of the Council serve for a three year period, renewable. The Council is responsible for the areas of finance, employment and policy. Day to day management of the agency resides with the director and his management staff. The members of Council are:

CYC Management Structure

The Director of the agency is Fr Jim Caffrey. The Director has ultimate responsibility for all aspects of the management of the agency.

Head of Human Resources.
Peter Hurley is Head of Human Relations in Catholic Youth Care. He is responsible for all aspect of the management of staff in the agency. Peter reports to the director.

Finance Manager
Edel McNamara is Finance Manager in the agency. She is responsible for all aspect of financial management and control in the agency. Edel reports to Peter Hurley.

Youth Work Service Manager
Eddie D'Arcy is the Manager of Youth Work Services. All aspects of youth work are in his brief. Eddie reports to Peter Hurley.

Coordinator of Disadvantaged Youth Work
Geraldine Magee manages CYC response in the area of Disadvantaged Youth Work. Ger reports to Eddie D’Arcy.
